About the event

This is the last day to see the remarkable exhibition of the iconography of Maria Ruiz - Rodriguez, before the exhibition is taken down and the miniatures are placed in the new Latin-Arabic Missal book of Jerusalem.

Dr. Anastasia Keshman is an art history researcher specializing in Byzantine iconography, who researched the works of Maria Ruiz Rodriguez. In her study she shows the connections and influences of Armenian and Latin Byzantine sources on this innovative iconography. The Armenian Museum, Tzoghig Karakashian (manager) and Fr. Arshak Ghazarian (exhibition curator), invite you to a lecture by Art Historian Dr. Anastasia Keshman, and a visit to the exhibition of miniatures in the presence of the artist and iconographer.
